Play Let It Ride Poker Online

Let it Ride is a popular variation to the game of poker that is played against the dealer, or casino, while regular poker is played against other players. The game is played at a slower pace than most other table games, which allows for a little more thinking and some relaxation. The game “Let it Ride” was invented by Shuffle Master. There is a lot of strategy involved in any poker game played, with a lot of variations on which philosophy is best.

Basic Rules
The game of Let it Ride has some very simple rules. These rules are very important to know, as some places enforce them much stricter than others. Here are a few of the basic rules that you should know before joining a Let it Ride table.

1. Each player is required to keep three cards in front of them and in full view of the dealer at all times.

2. Players may not, at any time take back their third bet.

3. Players are not allowed to show their hands or talk about what they have at any time.

How to Play
First, to start the game, each player bets three equal bets in the three spaces in front of them. They are labeled 1, 2 and $. Most players have a minimum bet and a maximum bet. Be sure to check what the bet limits are before playing. After bets are made, each player is dealt three cards face down. The community or dealer also gets two cards face down.

After all players have looked at their cards, they have the option of pulling back their first bet, or “letting it ride”. If you let it ride, you are electing to play. The dealer will then expose the first community card. Players once again have the option of pulling back the second bet or “letting it ride”. After all bets are made, the dealer turns over the final card, and then players put their cards on the table face down. The dealer will then turn all the players’ cards over. All losers’ cards will be taken, along with their bets. If you win, you will receive your money.

Payouts and Odds
The game uses a payout schedule that is pretty much similar no matter where you are playing the game at. Here is the traditional payout scale, be sure to check the casino and make sure their payout is not any different, before you begin play. Royal Flush, which is the best hand you can get when you are playing any poker game. A Royal Flush is when you have five cards that are the highest five, and all in the same suit. For example, you must have the 10, Jack, Queen, King and Ace – and in the same suit (hearts, diamonds, clubs, spades). This pays out 1,000 to 1. If you are unfamiliar with what that means – for every $1 you wager, you would win $1,000.

The chances of you getting a Royal Flush are 1 in 649,740. The next on the payout scale is the Straight Flush. This is, once again, five consecutive cards in the same suit, but this does not need to be 10 – Ace. This can be any five, such as 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7. This pays out 200 to 1. Your chances of getting a straight flush are 1/72,193. Next, a four of a kind pays out 50 to 1. This is four cards of the same number (8, 8, 8, 8, and 6). A Full House pays out 11 to 1. A full house or “boat” is three of one number and two of another. A full house would be (King, King, King, 7, 7). A flush is next, and it pays out 8 to 1. This is five cards the same suit. A straight pays out 5 to 1, and must have five cards in a row, no matter the suit. The final three are – three of a kind (3 to 1), two pair (2 to 1), pair’s of 10 or better (1 to 1). This game is like blackjack or video poker, where players’ decisions decide and affect the house advantage.
