Play Craps Online

While the game of Craps may seem difficult to play, once you have went over rules and some strategies, the game is really quite simple, and a lot of fun. Craps is a dice game that players wager on the outcome of a roll of the dice, or a series of outcomes. Players may wager against each other or with each other. Craps dates back to the old days of the Crusades. French gamblers played the game, and then brought it to American through New Orleans.

Basic Rules
The game of craps is played against the casino. The casino then covers all of the players bets on the table, and each has a odds and payouts. Around the table, players take turns rolling the dice, and that person is called the shooter. The dice is passed counter clockwise after each new round. A round begins when the shooter selection two dice. The shooter must make a line bet, and the rest of the table can make bets as well. The shooter begins the game by rolling the dice against the opposite side of the table, against the wall. The first roll is known as the come-out roll. If the come-out roll is 7 or 11, then the pass line wins and the don’t pass bets lose. If this scenario hits, the round is over. If the come-out is a 2,3, or 12 – then the pass line loses and the don’t pass lines win or ties. If the come-out is a 4,5,6,8,9 or 10, then that number becomes the players point. The dealer then places a puck on top of the number on the table. The shooter keeps rolling until the number is rolled, or a 7 comes out. If the point number comes out the pass line bettors win and don’t pass bettors lose. If a 7 is rolled before the point number, then the pass line loss and don’t pass win.

How to Play
When it’s time to make a wager, here are a few of your betting options: Don’t pass line – these are the opposite of pass line bets. With these, you are betting against the shooter. You first want the shooter to “crap out”, which is a 2, 3 or 12. If a point comes out, then you are wanting a “7” to come out before the number he/she wants. A come bet is a lot like a pass line bet. On this, they are made after a point has been made. If a shooter rolls a 7 or 11 after the come bet, they win. If the roll is a 2,3 or 12 – the come bet loses. If another number comes out, the bet is still safe, and moved to a smaller number. If a 7 is rolled before the number – the bet loses. When you wager on a “don’t come bet” – it is the exact opposite of a come bet. There are other bets called sucker bets, and they are just that – bets that are made by “suckers”. Betting on suckers is a good way to lose at the game of craps.

Payouts and Odds
The odds and payouts in Craps are a little difficult to understand. When you are looking for a safe way to play, the best bet would be the don’t pass line. If you are looking for an even better chance of winning, place a maximum odds bet on a minimum don’t pass line. While you may not quite understand what this lingo means right now, take a look at a craps table, and you will easily be able to follow along. Payouts for pass, and don’t pass lines are typically just 1 to 1. A lot of following the odds in craps is knowing the probability of each occasion to happen. There are 36 possibilities of the results of the dice being rolled. Here are the probabilities:

* 2 = 1:36
* 3 = 2:36
* 4 = 3:36
* 5 = 4:36/ 1:9
* 6 = 5:36
* 7 = 6:36/ 1:6
* 8 = 5:36
* 9 = 4:36
* 10 = 3:36
* 11 = 2:36
* 12 = 1:36
